duty happenings & 19th Book Band

Thank God our duty in POC is finally over. Yay!

There were so many things that happened there.

1. Orientation day. We were supposed to be there before 10 am, but we arrived there at 10:30 am I think, because of traffic. Good thing the orientation started at 11 am, so we're not late. Haha.
2. Second day, Tuesday. Some of my classmates and I were 40 minutes late, and it's because one of my classmate arrived 30 minutes late to our meeting place, and as always because of traffic again.
3. So the following day, and also for the rest of the week, my classmates and I decided to leave early to avoid traffic. We arrived super early naman, but that's okay. Haha. Kaysa naman late diba? :p
4. Second week of our duty, some of my classmaes decided to have a dorm there because they can't take the long hours of travel. So yeah, dalawa na lang kaming naiwan mag-byahe ng classmate ko. Haha.
5. Monday, it's a holiday. No duty. Yay!
6. Tuesday. My classmate Erickson and I decided to leave at 7 am because we knew that we willl not be late if we left at that time. Nagkamali kame, ahaha. Na-abutan na naman kami ng traffic. Not only that, we rode the wrong jeepney that would take us to the hospital sana. Sa iba dumaan 'yung jeep, mali pala kami ng nasakyan. Kamusta naman 'yun? We had no choice, so we walked, there were no jeepneys kasi na nadaan dun. Badtrip. Super late na nga kami tapos naligaw pa. Good thing, pag-dating namin dun di pa nag-check ng attendance ang CI namin. Haha. Thank God we're not late. :p
7. The next day we decided to leave a 6:30 am, ayun super early na naman namin. We arrived at the hospital at 8:15, haha. Natawa na lang ako.

Last Sunday, February 22, 2009, we attended the PMI concert, entitled How Great is Our God. PMI stands for Philippine Missionary Institute in Silang, Cavite. It is a Bible school, and our youth pastor, Pastor Ariz is studying there. All the participants in that concert were the students of that school. The concert went well, even though there were some technical problems, but thank God He didn't allow the concert be ruined by the devil. God is indeed so powerful.

The 19th Book Band, which is the band of our youth pastor, also played there. 19th book, because the 19th book in the Bible is Psalms and their songs according to them were quoted in the book of Psalms. They have their own original songs, too bad I wasn't able to record one of their songs. They also have a remake of the song "Siya", an old Christian song. I really like their songs. They were so galing. They also have their Church tour here in Cavite. Sounds cool huh. :)
