Clinical Graduation

Woah I can't believe that I just "clinically" graduated yesterday (is that the right term?). Lol.
Well, we nursing students have two graduation rights, our Clinical Graduation which was done to recognize us that we already finished our related learning experiences or our duties at the different affiliated hospitals where we wore our gala uniforms, and the real Graduation rights, the Baccalaureate which is the most exciting part where we are all gonna be wearing our black togas. Yay!

Our Clinical Graduation was held at the Philippine International Convention Center in Manila yesterday (April 17, 2009). Oh, yesterday was also my brother's 19th birthday. Happy Birthday Jeremiah. :) So, back to the topic. We were told to be there at the venue at exactly 5:30 am, it was so early, but it was okay because it's only a once in a lifetime chance to graduate. Hehe. Students from our main campus in Manila were also there, they were I think 9oo plus students and we from the Cavite campus were just 225 I think. The program started with a Eucharistic mass and the blessings of the nursing pins, cap, bust, etc. Then the ceremony proper, the Ring and Pin ceremony. I was very glad that finally after 2 years of our RLE's we finally graduated. :D

Truly, I got teary eyed when I heard the speech of one of the recipient of the Nightingale award from our campus when she mentioned all those hardships that we students have experienced during our duties. Sigh. I remember those days. I really thank God for all those years that we had, the friendship, the bonding that my group mates and I have had during our duties. I will miss them.
