it's raining again!

Rainy days are here once again. I like it more than summer, because I can't stand the heat during summer, but I don't like it when it's really raining so hard especially at night, I can't sleep because of the sound of the rain drops falling on the roof of the house. Plus I think it's a bit scary. I don't know why.

I already started my volunteer work in a small hospital here in our town last June 5 and it 's fun because I am really learning a lot from there, and its also a way of refreshing my memory of what I've learned during college. It just made me think that I need to have a license as soon as possible. Excited much? Hehe. As if I can get a license a.s.a.p? Thinking that I will take the exam on November pa. :) Aside from the volunteer work that I'm doing now, I will also have a job (sort of like a part time) on a lying-in and medical clinic, I will work there as a secretary. That's only for 2 months I guess and also the volunteer work because after 2 months I will have to review na for the exam on November 28 and 29. And talking about reviewing. I just thought that I really need to give the best that I can for the exam and God will do the rest. :)

Do you guys go to ukay-ukays? Or some bargain/thrift stores? I really love going to those kind of stores because there you can find so many cheap but very unique and fashionable clothes, shoes, and bags. I usually go there to buy skirts because I rarely find cute skirts at the malls that fits my budget. Hehe. I also shop there for jackets, boleros, and vests. But the last time I've been there I bought a very cute red doll shoes for only 100 pesos. :D That was actually my first time to buy a shoe from a thrift store and it was really a good find. :) I have found this website The Ukay Queen and she really is the ukay queen. I envy her for finding those one of a kind clothes, bags, and shoes in an ukay-ukay, she also has an online ukay shop, cool! Go check it out.

My family and I are going to Pila, Laguna on the 28th. (We stayed there for almost 3 years when my father was assigned to be the pastor in one of the church there) They invited Papa to be the speaker of their Sunday service. I am really excited to be back there after 6 long years. :D I really missed everyhing there, our church-house (the pastoral house was actually inside the church, i dunno how to describe it but it's actually not a house but it was kind of a portion of the church a 2 storey portion of the church and called it the pastoral house because it was inside the church so our house is the church. lol. Oh nvm. Haha), the people, their accent, their way of saying aah-aah in every sentence they say, haha.
