Christmas' updates.

Haven't posted for awhile now, including my Christmas post, I just felt so lazy to blog about anything this past few days. So here are the random things that happened this past few days.

December 25, 2008
Christmas Day. I woke up late, because I slept late last Christmas' eve, wala lang I just want to feel that it was Christmas' eve, because my family doesn't celebrate the Noche buena, because we're not used to preparing foods during Christmas' eve, we usually prepare foods on New year's eve.

Upon waking up, my family and I had the exchanging of gifts. I received a silver ring from mama, and it was so beautiful, I like it so much. Papa gave me cash, because he was not able to buy gifts for us, as well as my brother because he was about to give me the New Moon book but unfortunately, it was sold out. Papa and I gave Mama a bag (the one that she really want), and she really liked it. I gave Papa a shirt. And I gave my brother Jay a bag a week before Christmas. Hehe. Advance Christmas gift. So, as expected many children did their pamamasko. I missed doing that when I was still a kid. But hey I can't do that anymore I'm overaged to do that. Haha. After all the kids here in our village were done with their pamamasko here in our house. We then went to my Lola's house where we always celebrate our Christmas day and New year as well. My family, together with some of my cousins usually celebrate Christmas day at the mall or any amusement parks, in short we always make pasyal during Christmas day. Hehe. But this year's different, since some of my cousins were not here in the Philippines, and since Hershey (my closest cousin) just slept all day because she had work the night before, we didn't make pasyal to anywhere. But it was okay, because my family and I just went na lang to visit Papa's siblings to gave them our pamasko.

December 26, 2008
I attended the evening watch and I received a gift from a friend. He gave me 10 packs of my favorite chocolate (from Japan), a blue Adidas shirt, and a glass figurine with a rose inside it and with the words "I love you" in it. Sweet ba? Hehe.

Deceember 28, 2008
We had the Pastor's appreciation day in our church. It was the day where the members of the church would give their appreciation gift/letter/message or anything to the Pastor and his family (if they like). I experienced it last year where my family and I were called on the pulpit, I remembered staying there for minutes (I'm super shy). There was one member who gave his message to Papa, and they gave Papa an appreciation plaque and after that all the members who had their appreciation gifts would give their gifts in front while we were on the pulpit. Grabe it was so overwhelming, the message for Papa and also the gifts that they gave our family, it almost filled our car's compartment, and as well as the inside. Haha. That was last year, but this year. I wasn't able to attend church so I wasn't there for the Pastor's appreciation day. It was just the same like last year, but the difference was we have not received the same number of gifts like last year. Hehe. Last year kasi it was before Christmas, but now it was after Christmas. :p

December 29, 2008
My VCGC friends and I went to EK together with my family. It's our youth's outing day. Yay! I've been there for four times na and yesterday was the 5th one. Hehe. There were so many people yesterday, there were 80700 plus people daw according to one of the crew there and that was my first time to see na super haba ng lines in all of the rides there (except for the ones na may bayad) haha. Grabe, it took us almost an hour in every pila that we made in every ride. Ayun, I got to ride 6 rides lang. Pero that was okay na rin I had fun, even though some of my friends were so KJ. They can't stand the very long pila in every ride. They don't want to ride na nga daw eh, because the lines were so long. Pfft! My most favorite ride was the Rio Grande Rapids, I really like it. They also enjoyed it. :) The most fun part last night was the fireworks. Yay! The fireworks were really AWESOME!

Merry Christmas!

Yay! It's 11:23 pm in my clock and it's only a few minutes to go before Christmas!
I've waited so long for this, and now I can't believe that it's here. Hehe.

We did the yearly Christmas gift giving a while ago along the streets of Kawit Cavite. I'm with some of the youth members of VCGC. It's really fun and it really felt so good to reach other people even with just a little gift, and that we could see the smile on their faces.

Christmas is a time of giving, just like what God has did to us, because He love us so much that He gave His one and only begotten son for us to be saved. I hope that we could share the love to each and everyone of us not just for this Christmas time but also in everyday of our lives.

Tagaytay Christmas party

Just got home from Tagaytay City. :)

We've been there since yesterday (December 19) at Estancia Hotel and Resort for the Christmas party of DBB Municipal Hospital, well, mom's working there as the AO (administrative officer). The place was good, and it was very very very very COLD.

They just did their usual Christmas party, gift giving, games, and this time all the departments (administrative, medical, and nursing) had their own special dance number each, and the best one for me was the Andministrative department (yeah! go Mama). It was super fun. :D

Then on the 2nd day (December 20) they had prepared a game and they named it after the popular reality game show the "Amazing Race". Just like the original, there were teams but only six teams were there. So they really enjoyed it even though the price was only 600 pesos. Haha. It's the fun and the bond that counts.

So after the game we packed our things and get ready to leave, but before we leave Mama, Tita Tess, and my cousin Kaye used the Jacuzzi. Hehe. Then they have decided to make some detours before we go home. Hehe. We've been to the Paradizoo were we saw some strange animals like the 5 legged cow, cool isn't it? And different species of plants the one that I can't ever forget was the plant called "Lantana" haha. So there, I had so much FUN!

Can't post everything here, 'coz I'm soo tired na. I'll just edit it next time if I will have the time. Hehe. I feel so dizzy now. Urgh!

random-ness

This week's kind of boring for me. I dunno, I feel like our Nursing week's a bit boring. Haha maybe because I did not join any games/sports/events or whatever, and also I am not watching any of it. Lol.

Anyways, I didn't went to school yesterday for the Nursing week because Mama, my brother Jay and I went to 168 mall at Divisoria, together with two of her office mates. We left at around 6 in the morning and we got there at 8:30 a.m I think. I was really excited to go there and shop, because as we all know Divisoria is a place where goods are really cheap and affordable, right? So yeah, we went there to shop for some stuffs and also for some gift items. I so love shopping there I wish I had more money. Haha. I bought 2 skinny jeans, a dress, a top, and a bag for my brother as a Christmas gift, I also bought gifts for my friends. And because of that, I am so bankrupt now, haha. I have to find ways to get a lot of money before Christmas, I don't have gifts yet for my parents. Waaah!

I have seen the schedule for the completion of our OR and DR cases for this month and I was really surprised that I will have duties on December 22 and 26. Gosh! I'm going to have duties during the Christmas break! Ugh! I need to complete all of my cases for that 2 days duty, man that is so hard to accomplish! Sigh.

Oh, I'm really glad that I already finished watching all episodes of Absolute Boyfriend. Thanks to my friend Jemae for recommending it. The story is so good! It's about a robot dedicated to love. If you want to know more about it just Google for it na lang or you can watch it also at Crunchyroll.com. I really can't control my tears especially on the last part of the story. Ganda talaga.

Haha, I won't be going to school again tomorrow because I have duty and we are going to Tagaytay over the weekend, I won't be able to attend our Christmas party on Friday. 'Di ko na na-enjoy ang nursing week. Lolz.

I am 20 :D

Oh my! I can't believe that I just turned 20 yesterday, DECEMBER 12. Grabe, ang bilis ng panahon parang kahapon lang I was just a little girl pero now 20 na ako, twenTEEN pala. Lol.

Mama, Papa and my brother Jay woke me up yesterday by singing a Happy birthday song to me with a cake and a candle pa, which I blew afterward, the last time I blew a candle on my birthday was like 2 years ago during my 18th birthday. Hehe. They were so sweet and I was really touched by what they did I really love them. :) So, after that we ate the cake, haha ang aga pa nun siguro it was just 7 am, then they gave their gifts to me. My parents gave me a pink Skechers watch (it's cute and I really like it) and my brother gave me a bag (it's a simple one, I like it too). I really want a new digicam for my birthday and my parents know that but I also know that they won't give me that, because that was what they have given me last year as a birthday present and now I want it again, haha. Am I being too materialistic? Hehe. Pero I told them naman na they don't have to give me any birthday presents, every birthday ko kasi they always gave me something special puro nga mga gadgets eh pansin ko lang, haha.

I didn't celebrate my birthday that much because I had to go to my duty which was from 2 pm to 10 pm, unlike my previous birthdays, whenever kasi na may mag-celebrate ng birthday sa family namin we always go out and make pasyal sa mall, so 'yun. It was a bit tiring because we were assigned at the delivery room yesterday, but it was fun because I was able to complete my DR cases and ang daming mga newborn siguro mga 8 na mga babies 'yun kakatuwa kasi ang dami kong bagong ka-birthday. :D At dahil may duty ako that day I wasn't able to attend our evening watch di tuloy natuloy ang pagiging speaker ko. Sayang.

I just want to thank my parents for without them I would'nt be here in this world, my friends, and also all of my online friends who greeted me especially to my Plurk friends, hehe.

trapped!

Okay, I really made this post last Friday (December 5) which was Mama's birthday (Happy birthday Mama! :)) but I wasn't able to post it because I was so late for our evening watch. So now this is my post about last Thursday's duty which was so, ugh! ewan ko ba, nakulong kasi kami sa elevator haha.

It's not that toxic naman because we only had 6 patients for that night. So we were like on relax mode. Haha. We had nothing to do kasi after visiting our patients to take their vital signs and give their medications 'yun relax mode na. At dahil nga wala kami masyadong ginagawa we were like roaming around the hospital riding the elevator up and down. Haha. When my friends Kaye, Majo and I went to the 5th floor to get the Doppler (the one used to get the FHT of the fetus in pregnant patients) we used the stairs because we knew that the elevator was not working, then when we got on the 5th floor we took the elevator to get to the 3rd floor because we thought that the elevator might be okay na (because it's working on the 5th floor) not knowing na hindi pa pala. So when we were inside na, it stopped on the 3rd floor where we were about to go, the door didn't opened we tried to push the button to open the door but it really didn't opened at all. We were all scared that we might not get out of the elevator, so we were like on panic mode na it was around 3 am na kasi and we can't get out of it. Naisip ko na nga to push the emergency button eh, haha pero buti na lang naisip ko na i-try pabalikin ang elevator to the 5th floor, so when we tried it, it was still not going up (akala namin we were going to be stuck on it na talaga) buti na lang after a few seconds it did went up to the 5th floor. At ayun thank God dahil nakalabas din kami.

Updates..

..Last Friday, December 5 was Mama's birthday :) "Happy birthday Mama"

..I am watching Absolute Boyfriend for a few days now and I'm so in love with it's story, kawaii! Probably more Japanese dramas/novelas (whatever they call it) to watch for.

..Wasn't able to watch Twilight with my cousins last Saturday because my review ended up so late, so I wasn't able to come and I also had my migraine again. (I really hate having migraines!) But unfortunately my cousins were not able to watch it also because of the heavy traffic. Haha. :p

..Today's the 56th wedding anniversary of my Lolo and Lola. So we went there to have lunch together with some of my relatives. It was fun, even though not all of my cousins were there.

After that, I went to church with my cousins to practice their presentation for their Family affair that will be held on December 21 and I was so surprised na kasali pala ako dun. Whaaaat? Well I will just make some narrations lang naman daw about the meaning of Christmas, because the presentation will be about the meaning of Christmas to different kinds of people so 'yun. We also had some talks about the upcoming youth retreat, I'm really excited for that, and also for our yearly gift giving every Christmas' eve to those less fortunate people.

..Weeeee, 5 days to go before my birthday and guess what? I will be the speaker for the evening watch on my birthday and it's about Romans 8. Wow! Haha, that's going to be the first.

DECEMBER, my most awaited month.

Yay! Today's the first day of the last month of the year. It's DECEMBER guys, which means Christmas is here. Yeah!

What do I really like about this month?

1. I think that this month has the most number of holidays. Haha.

• Like today, today's a holiday but it was supposed to be yesterday for the Bonifacio day but as we all know it was moved.
  
• It's our town's fiesta on the 8th, so it's a holiday here and so we will have no classes. :p
• For the working ones, the Christmas holiday which will be from the 25th to the 31st.

2. My Mom's birthday, which is on the 5th, ooooh it's only 4 days before her birthday. I'm really excited to give my gift to her.
3. My birthday!! Yay! My birthday is on the 12th. I'm really excited for my birthday, I will be turning twenTEEN (I insist) lol. I really want a new digital camera for my birthday. :)
4. Christmas' parties.
5. Our Christmas break. Weeeee. I think it's going to be a long one. Haha.
